Login with a Class Code

If your teacher gave you a class code, follow these steps to join Tinkercad as a student without needing an email address.

Go to Tinkercad
Open your browser and visit www.tinkercad.com

Click "Join Now"
Find the Join Now button at the top right of the homepage and click it.

Select "Students, Join a Class"
On the next screen, select the option Students, Join a Class to proceed as a student.

Enter Your Class Code
Type in the Class Code your teacher gave you and click Find Class.

Create Your Nickname
Choose a nickname for yourself, or use the one assigned by your teacher. You're in!
💡 Tip: Students don't need an email address to join via a class code. Just the code from your teacher is enough to get started.

Sign In with Your Account

Teachers, parents, or individual learners can create or sign in to a full Tinkercad account using any of the methods below.

Go to Tinkercad
Visit www.tinkercad.com in your browser.

Click "Sign In"
Click Sign In at the top right corner of the page.

Choose Your Sign-In Method
Pick one of the options:
  • 🟠 Google — easiest if you have a Gmail account
  • 🍎 Apple — sign in with your Apple ID
  • 🔷 Microsoft — use your school or work Microsoft account
  • 📧 Email & Password — create a new account with any email

You're on the Dashboard!
After logging in, you'll land on your personal Tinkercad Dashboard where all your projects are saved.
Next Step

Create a New Circuit

Once you're logged in to your Tinkercad dashboard, creating your first circuit is easy:

Click "Circuits" on the left sidebar
From the main Tinkercad dashboard, look at the left panel and click on Circuits.

Click "Create new Circuit"
At the top of the Circuits page, click the Create new Circuit button to open the circuit editor.
🔌 What you can do: Inside the circuit editor, you can drag and drop components like LEDs, resistors, Arduino boards, sensors and more — then wire them up and simulate in real time.
Sim Lab Workspace

⚙️ What is Sim Lab?

The Sim Lab workspace in Tinkercad allows motors to drive the motion of simulations. Users can add torque and RPM to any axle connector, making it possible to simulate real mechanical systems — perfect for robotics and engineering projects.
